  Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ 1. What kind of bikes do you rent ?

We offer only late-model, dealership-maintained motorcycles from major manufacturers. Current models are sport-oriented, but if there is enough demand for a particular model it may be added to the fleet. See our Fleet page for more information on current models available.

2. What do I need to rent a motorcycle ?

Renters must be 18 years of age or older, possess a valid driver's license with motorcycle endorsement (non Quebec residents must also possess a valid passport for identification), a major credit card for a deposit at the time of the rental, and have previous riding experience with a similar high performance motorcycle. You must possess a motorcycle helmet in good condition, or may rent one at the rental location - helmets are personal safety equipment and some are available for rent.

3. What are the rental periods ?

Rentals are based on 24 hour periods with discounts given for multi-day and weekly rentals. Late returns accrue penalty fees.

4. What’s the rental procedure ?

A. Contact us by phone or email to set up the desired rental date(s) and model. A $100 deposit will be charged to your credit card to hold your reservation, to be credited to your rental charges.

B. On the pickup date, Primomoto will collect remaining fees for the rental. We will also place a $3000 hold on your credit card for security & possible damages—your card will not be charged unless there is a problem. There is no cost to you for the hold procedure.

C. Enjoy your ride. When the motorcycle is returned per the terms of the rental agreement the security hold on your credit card will be released.

5. Where can I ride ?

Clients are free to ride on any public Canadian road or highway, except for gravel roads, beaches, "logging" or other non-public roads, and must obey provincial and local vehicle laws and restrictions. At present, under no circumstances are the motorcycles to leave Canada. In addition, race track use or “stunt riding” is strictly forbidden and will forfeit your security & damage hold, and may subject you to additional fees & damage costs.

6. What is your cancellation policy ?

Cancellations made at least 14 in advance will get a refund of your deposit. Cancellations made less than 14 days in advance will result in the forfeiture of the $100 deposit or it can be credited towards a future reservation date.
